# n8n

> Point n8n at the Build docs and your key, paste one sentence, and let it write the call.

Use n8n for: something on a schedule. It reads the same docs as every other tool.

## Where the key goes

Store the key in an n8n credential and add it to the HTTP Request node as the `X-API-Key` header. The key is always named `BUILD_API_KEY`, and the prompt names the variable, never the key.

_To write: the exact steps and a screenshot for putting BUILD_API_KEY into n8n_

## The prompt

Paste this into n8n. It points your AI at the docs and at your key, then says what you want.

Prompt for n8n:

```
Read https://build.sellermate.ai/SKILL.md. My key is in BUILD_API_KEY. Every Monday at 8, post each client’s spend, sales, ACoS and change vs last week to our team channel.
```

## A worked example

_To write: a worked example in n8n: the prompt, what n8n writes, the call it makes to Build, and what you check before you run it_

## Expected output

The example above should end with: Monday cards in #client-reports.

_To write: a screenshot or sample of the real output for this prompt_

## If it breaks

Paste the error back into n8n. Errors say what to change, and a `429` says when to retry. Reads are safe to run again.
